We Miss You, Bill

Oh, Bill, I can’t tell if you’re going senile or you meant to say what you said. If I had to lay a bet, I’d wager you meant it.

Let’s face it: your Hildebeast of a wife losing in 2016 cost you tens of millions and a life of easy living at the expense of US taxpayers and Clinton Global Initiative donors. Sure, you’ve got money, but you aren’t held in nearly the esteem of, say, Barack Obama.

And why is that?

You were the “workfare” Democrat president. And, Bill, for all your faults, which are too numerous to list here, you were a sane president.

Your policies made sense until the very end, when you let that overeducated so-and-so, Larry Summers, talk you into repealing Glass Steagall. Heck, if you had only controlled your ego and held your ground instead of allowing Tony Blair to punk you into bombing Serbia, you’d have gone down as one of our great presidents, your penchant for intern-flavored cigars notwithstanding.

I mean, just listen to this peach of a passage, Bill, from your 1995 State of the Union address:

All Americans, not only in the States most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens. In the budget I will present to you, we will try to do more to speed the deportation of illegal aliens who are arrested for crimes, to better identify illegal aliens in the workplace as recommended by the commission headed by former Congresswoman Barbara Jordan. We are a nation of immigrants. But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it. 

Infantile democratic populations prefer a permissive uncle like Obama to a strict father.

Let’s look at the damage President Joke Biden and – aha hahaha – Border Czar, Vice President, and Democratic Nominee Kamala Harris did to the place:

Say Her Name

Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student at Augusta University who was murdered in February 2024 while jogging on the University of Georgia campus. José Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan national who had entered the U.S. illegally, was charged with her murder. The case has led to proposed legislation, known as the "Laken Riley Act," which imposes stricter immigration laws regarding migrant detention.

Ok, Bill didn’t say her name. But he said this:

You had a case in Georgia not very long ago ... a young woman who had been killed by an immigrant. If they all had been properly vetted, that probably wouldn't have happened... 

Right in the goolies, Bill! In one swift kick, you embarrassed Biden, Harris, and their puppetmaster, Obama. Only you can do something so smoothly, Slick Willie!

Of course, the porous Southern Border is leading to insane immigration. But one man has the answer.

Hoppe on Immigration

I’ve written about Hoppe’s immigration views before but never revealed his sublime solution: make “invitors” from a country insure the “invitees.” It’s beautiful.

Here’s what he says:

Qua contractual admission, the inviting party can dispose only of his own private property. Hence, the admission implies negatively — similarly to the scenario of conditional free immigration — that the immigrant is excluded from all publicly funded welfare. Positively, it implies that the receiving party assumes legal responsibility for the actions of his invitee for the duration of his stay. The invitor is held liable to the full extent of his property for any crimes the invitee commits against the person or property of any third party (as parents are held accountable for the crimes of their offspring as long as they are members of the parental household). This obligation, which implies practically speaking that invitors will have to carry liability insurance for all of their guests, ends once the invitee has left the country, or once another domestic property owner has assumed liability for the person in question (by admitting him onto his property).

The invitation may be private (personal) or commercial, temporally limited or unlimited, concerning only housing (accommodation, residency) or housing and employment (but there cannot be a valid contract involving only employment and no housing). In any case, however, as a contractual relationship, every invitation may be revoked or terminated by the invitor; and upon termination, the invitee — whether tourist, visiting businessman, or resident alien — will be required to leave the country (unless another resident citizen enters an invitation-contract with him).

How many leftists would be willing to flood the country with illegal immigrants, then? How many business owners looking for cheap labor?
